18 Oct – Following the buzz created by the revelation that actress Wawa Zainal has been married to actor Aeril Zafrel since 4 February this year and that the couple have just had a baby in 24 August, actor Shaheizy Sam was asked to comment on the rumour that Metrowealth (MIG) has a clause in their artistes' contracts that forbids them to have a relationship with a fellow artiste. "That's right, but I don't see how that is a big deal because the way I understand it, the clause is a printed way of saying "Don't bring your personal issues into your work and vice versa." I'm sure that every company practices this principle, just that MIG puts it down in ink," said the 31-year-old actor. He added, "However, if I was to date someone in the company, I don't think that will be a problem either because in the end, Wawa [Zainal] is still married to Aeril."
Shaheizy Sam is currently busy preparing for his first single. Set to be completed in November, the song is a duet with Liyana Jasmay and is sponsored by Nescafe. It will feature lyrics written by fans that will be selected from a contest by Nescafe. Fans will also get to hear Sam sing-rapping in the song. In related news, the actor has just completed filming the fourth "Adnan Sempit" in Bangkok, titled "Adnan Sempit Sawadeekap" and will next be seen in the action crime film titled "Kisah Paling Gengster". The latter will be released in Malaysia on 21 November.
