17 Feb – Word out is that Thai action star Tony Jaa is currently busy with two new projects with one of them involving international action star Jean Claude Van Damme, who was last seen in "The Expendables 2". Thailand's "The Nation" reported that Jaa will soon be starring in his first international project that will include Van Damme, however, there are no further details about movie past the involvement of the Belgian star. Other projects by the "Ong Bak" star have also been shrouded with mystery. The actor was reported attending a blessing ritual for a new movie that he would direct and star in, but no press was allowed near the area.
The only thing that is for sure is that the film will definitely be another martial arts caper Jaa is best known for as his mentor Panna and actress-director Julaluck Ismalone from "Fighting Fish" were present at the ceremony. For fans of the star, he would next be seen in "Tom Yum Goong 2", sequel to the popular "Tom Yum Goong". The film, which is shot in 3D, had started production in 2011 but was endlessly delayed. After much speculation on the film's predicament, it finally announced a release date of 21 February in Malaysia.
