23 May – If you've been stumbling to say "Batman vs Superman" since it was announced, be prepared to have your tongue twisted with the new official title of the "Man of Steel" sequel. Warner Bros. has announced the official title for the next Superman movie to be "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice". According to The Hollywood Reporter, as the name implies, "Dawn of Justice" will set the stage for the inevitable 'Justice League' movie, which the Reporter says could come as early as 2017, if the movie is made back-to-back with "Dawn of Justice". Zack Snyder is currently shooting "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" written by Chris Terrio and David Goyer, with Ben Affleck and Henry Cavil as the respective leads, at the Michigan Motion Picture Studios and other locations in Detroit.
Other confirmed cast that will be in "Dawn of Justice" are Gal Gadot ("Fast 5", "Furious 6") as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg ("The Social Network", "Now You See Me") as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons ("Die Hard With A Vengeance", "The Lion King") as Alfred. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will be returning in the sequel as their roles from "Man of Steel", while Holly Hunter will join the cast in a new role. "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is currently scheduled to be released on 6 May 2016.
