Chapman To in Singaporean film by Malaysian director


Mark Lee and Chapman To will be acting as two rivals in the upcoming film, "King of Mahjong".

3 Aug – Popular Hong Kong actor, Chapman To will be starring alongside Singaporean comedian, actor, host and director, Mark Lee in a comedy film involving the Chinese traditional game, Mahjong, with Malaysian director Adrian Teh to helm the film.

The upcoming film called "King of Mahjong", centres on two Mahjong rivals, Ah Fatt and Tian Ba played by To and Lee respectively.

The film will also feature other talented cast such as Michelle Ye, Patricia Mok, Eric Tsang, Chu Mi Mi, Venus Wong, Cheronna Ng and Lo Hoi Pang reports FilmBiz Asia.

The director of previous Malaysian-Singaporean joint production romantic comedy hits, "The Wedding Diary" and "The Wedding Diary II", Adrian Teh, will be directing "King of Mahjong".

The film will be financed fully by Zingshot Productions and is set to release next year by Singapore's Clover Films Pte. Ltd. Furthermore, Teh's Malaysia-based Asia Tropical Films will also act as a producer.
