5 Nov – British crooner Sam Smith might have just landed himself a deal of a lifetime. The "Stay With Me" singer has reportedly been offered to sing the theme song for the upcoming yet-to-be-titled "James Bond" movie. According to EntertainmentWise, Smith has beaten out fellow frontrunner Lana Del Rey to land the coveted deal. If Smith takes up the offer, the 22-year-old will be walking in the footsteps of former Bond theme singers such as Adele, Madonna and Duran Duran, who have all produced Bond themes that went on to become massive hits. However, Smith's fans might want to hold off toasting the singer with a shaken, not stirred martini just yet. When recently asked for official confirmation, a representative of Smith's replied, "That is not confirmed." The 24th "James Bond" movie starring Daniel Craig is currently in production and is set for release by end of 2015. [Main photo source: ballinnn.com]
