13 May – The film adaptation of the highly popular video game "World of Warcraft", will undergo a rare two-year production, at least by Hollywood standards, as a majority of its timeframe will be dedicated for extensive visual effects work. Directed by "Moon" filmmaker Duncan Jones and starring Dominic Cooper, Ben Foster, Paula Patton and Robert Kazinsky, the live-action movie will be pushed to a March 2016 release date despite shooting for the film is almost complete. A large timeframe of post-production will focus on the non-human characters in the US$100 million budgeted movie, as well as the creation of the world they live in, reports ScreenRant. "There are some sequences and some things that Duncan Jones has done that are truly on the cutting edge. So by the time they get home and set up, it'll be a little less than two years. It'll be about 20 months but we really want to take our time and get this right because the technology that's employed really is some next generation stuff." said Thomas Tull, the CEO of Legendary Pictures to Crave Online. Utilising motion-capture technology seen in "Avatar" and "The Hobbit", the movie's plot is described as; "The story of Anduin Lothar versus Durotan, Human and Orc heroes from the original real-time strategy games."
