Batman chases The Joker on "Suicide Squad" set

Batman spotted filming for "Suicide Squad".

28 May – With The Joker making a prominent appearance in the upcoming "Suicide Squad", fans have been wondering where his nemesis Batman will fit in in the grand scheme of things.

Questions were answered, well partially, when images and footage of the Caped Crusader filming for the movie flooded social media recently.

Videos were uploaded on YouTube and Instagram showing Batman filming a chase scene on the set in Toronto, perched on The Joker's Lamborghini as it sped down the street – a superhero's way of tackling a speeding villain presumably.

Fans are delighted with the recent development as this very well means the superhero will be seen in the movie after all.

Batman is played by Ben Affleck, who still stands by the role despite initial negative responses when he was first cast, while The Joker is portrayed by Jared Leto, who takes on the challenge of playing the iconic character that earned the late Heath Ledger a postmortem Best Supporting Actor Oscar at the 2009 Academy Awards.

This also means Batman will be appearing on the big screen twice in 2016 – "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" on 24 March, and "Suicide Squad" on 4 August.
