25 Mar – "American Sniper" star, Bradley Cooper, is currently in talks with Warner Bros. to direct the remake of "A Star Is Born". According to Deadline, Cooper is also eyeing Beyoncé to star in the remake if the deal goes through, but has yet to approach the multi-talented artiste formally. Clint Eastwood, who directed Cooper on "American Sniper", was previously attached to the remake back in 2012. Eastwood reportedly exited the project after Beyoncé became pregnant, and went on to make "Jersey Boys" instead. "A Star Is Born" tells the story of a young woman with a dream of being a singer as she navigates a relationship with an older musician inspired to help her. Cooper, who is expected to revise the latest script written by Will Fetters, revealed that he intended to take the male lead role in the film himself. Should his deal for "A Star is Born" go through, this will mark the double-Oscar nominated actor's first time as a director. Cooper will be seen next in "Aloha", a romantic comedy by Cameron Crowe, also starring Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams.
