11 May – Recently appearing on the silver screen as the muscle-bound Hobbs in "Fast and Furious 7", Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson goes down a different route next as he is set to star in a science fiction action comedy. "Alpha Squad Seven" is a project described as a four-quadrant action-comedy adventure set in space, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Johnson will also be producing the movie through his company, 7 Bucks Productions. He will be collaborating with his "San Andreas" producer, Beau Flynn. No further details on the plot and other cast have been released at the moment. The former professional wrestler has signed on to star in several upcoming movies, including "New Intelligence" with Kevin Hart which he will start filming soon. He will also be belting out a tune or two in Disney's "Moana" and continuing his journey in the sequels to 2012's "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island", which was also the first movie he collaborated on with Flynn, as well as playing Black Adam in 2019 DC movie, "Shazam!". Catch The Rock as a search-and-rescue helicopter pilot this 28 May in "San Andreas".
