Hulk and Valkyrie in "Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok"

Hulk and Thor to work together in "Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok".

16 Oct – Good news for Hulk fans, specifically the one played by Mark Ruffalo, as word has it the green superhero will be starring alongside his fellow Avenger Thor in the upcoming "Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok".

Ruffalo is currently in talks to act in the third instalment of the Thor movie franchise, according to Deadline, but his appearance will be more than just a cameo as Hulk is reportedly set to play a bigger part in the movie.

This means fans will get to see him in the front lines along with the brothers, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

However, Hulk isn't the only addition as a female superhero, the leader of the Valkyries – goddesses who pick which worthy fallen warriors will ascend to Valhalla – specifically, will be making her live-action debut in the movie.

In the movie, Hulk will be joining Thor as he battles Loki, according to Screen Rant, and encounters the Valkyries. The script is currently in the process of rewriting as the original, written by Christopher Yost and Craig Kyle, is deemed "too dark", hence the reason for bringing director Taika Waititi to change the direction.

"Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok" is set to crash cinemas on 2 November 2017.
