7 Feb – "John Wick" star Keanu Reeves has boarded the project "The Neon Demon", along with Christina Hendricks, Jena Malone and Bella Heathcote. The four stars will be joining "Maleficent" princess Elle Fanning and Australian model-actress Abbey Lee, the recently-added cast of the Los Angeles-based female-driven horror movie, MovieWeb reports. To be directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, production on the movie is expected to begin in March and the movie is slated for release sometime in 2016.
Hendricks, who is best known for playing Joan Harris in AMC's "Mad Men", previously worked with Refn on his critically-acclaimed 2011 neo-noir thriller, "Drive". Malone last year appeared in "Inherent Vice" as Hope and Heathcote in "The Rewrite" as Karen. Reeves was last seen in 2014's action thriller "John Wick", a surprise hit as it over performed at the box office, grossing USD78.7 million worldwide against its USD20 million budget. Reeves will be seen next in "Passengers", "The Panopticon", "Knock, Knock", "The Whole Truth", "Daughter of God" and possibly the sequel to "John Wick". (Photo source: laprensa.peru.com)
