The sequel to his 2014 hit, "John Wick", will reportedly begin its shooting this fall, according to ComingSoon.net. David Leitch and Chad Stahelski are back in the directors' chairs with screenwriter Derek Kolstad returning to pen the script. The first movie tells the tale of the titular ex-hitman who is being targeted by an old friend that has been contracted by a crime boss to kill him. Wick is forced to reload his guns once again as he goes on an adrenaline-fueled path to revenge and redemption. No other information on the sequel, "John Wick 2", has been released, save for this minimal plotline: "In the follow up to last year's adrenaline-fueled revenge and redemption thriller, legendary hit man John Wick is back." "John Wick" opened at number two at the US weekend box office on 24 October last year. Filmed with a budget of USD20 million, based on Box Office Mojo stats, the action movie has gone on to gross USD78.7 million worldwide.
