Lee Min Ho to film "Bounty Hunters" in Malaysia

18 Sep – South Korean star, Lee Min Ho, is set to film his upcoming action movie "Bounty Hunters" in Malaysia.

The movie is expected to begin filming next month, according to Malaysian Digest. It is a joint-production between South Korea, China and Hong Kong, and will also star Chinese actress, Tiffany Tang.

Lee Min Ho will play the lead role named Yi-San, a man well-trained in martial arts, while Tiffany Tang will play the sexy, charismatic female lead named Wonder Woman Cat.

The movie, which has a production budget of USD41.5 million, according to Yonhap News, will also be shot in other locations including South Korea, China and Thailand.

"Bounty Hunters", directed by Shin Tae Ra, director of such movies as 2009's "My Girlfriend is an Agent" and 2012's "Runway Cop", is slated for a 2016 release.

Lee Min Ho was most recently seen in "Gangnam Blues", the South Korean noir that sealed his action movie leading man status.
