5 Oct – Woo Ming Jin's latest film, "Return to Nostalgia" is the only Malaysian film which was chosen to be screened at the 20th Busan International Film Festival. The 2015 edition of the festival which is running for the whole month, from 1 to 31 October 2015, features more than 300 movies from 75 countries. Woo who also directed "Mamak Cupcake" and "KL Zombi", is one of the 10 filmmakers from Asia who were invited to make a documentary on their country's cinema scene under the Busan International Film Festival's Power of Asian Cinema series. His film had received backing support from FINAS, and it features local actors such as Iedil Putra from "Terbaik dari Langit" and Jasmine Chin. "Return to Nostalgia" premiered at Busan Film Festival 2015 yesterday night according to TK Cheng, one of the crew of the film whom Cinema Online met at the screening of the 2015 edition of "3 Doors of Horrors" at the Content Pitching Center Malaysia. "3 Doors of Horrors" 2015 features three new horror shorts; "1,2,3" by Zeacht Liew, "Stay With Me" by Kenny Gan and "Phyu Phyu" by Ving Lee – which will be released online in stages.
"1,2,3" will be released on YouTube tonight at 9pm, while "Stay With Me" will premiere on video-based radio channel On.FM for one night and also be released exclusively for two weeks on Daily Motion, starting next Monday.
