5 May – Malaysian-based action thriller "Full Throttle" is gearing up to a good start as it has landed the famed cinematographer of "Fast and Furious" as its director. "Full Throttle", a film produced by DragonSlate Media", will mark Stephen Windon's directorial debut, according to TwitchFilm. But Windon is no stranger to action flicks as he was the director of photography for the fifth to seventh instalments of the "Fast and Furious" franchise. His impressive resume also includes shooting HBO's award-winning series "The Pacific" and 2013's "G.I. Joe: Retaliation". "Full Throttle" tells the story of a motorcycle racer who now works as a courier in Kuala Lumpur after a crash in Singapore ended his career. When his girlfriend is kidnapped, he has to race against time to save her while a criminal mastermind blackmails him to perform escalating acts of crime.
