Stephanie Sigman the latest Bond girl addition


The Mexican actress starred in Spanish-language film "Miss Bala" as Laura Guerrero.

10 Mar – While the new James Bond movie "Spectre" is in the midst of production, a new announcement has been made for the latest addition to the Bond girl list.

According to Coming Soon, EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Sony Pictures Entertainment have confirmed that Stephanie Sigman has signed on to be a mysterious character known as Estrella in the new Bond movie.

Sigman is a Mexican actress and had been previously nominated at the Academy Awards for her Spanish-language film, "Miss Bala".

She will be joining Daniel Craig, Ben Wishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux, Andrew Scott and Rory Kinnear who was confirmed earlier on.

Furthermore, Academy Award winner Sam Mendes who had previously directed the 2012 Bond film "Skyfall", will return to be direct "Spectre" with Craig reprising the lead role.

This time Bond will go on a mission to uncover a sinister organisation known as 'Spectre'. While Bond's superior, M (Ralph Fiennes) fights political forces in order to keep M16 alive, Bond discovers the hidden and ugly truth about 'Spectre'.

"Spectre" is expected for release this year in November.
