"Apprentice" screens in Malaysia, here's how you can watch it!

16 Nov – Filmmaker Boo Junfeng's "Apprentice" is making its way to Malaysia this 24 November and here's a chance for moviegoers to get free passes for the movie.

The Singaporean prison drama has thus far received rave reviews at many international film festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival and more recently at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

The psychological drama tells the story of a correctional officer, Aiman (Fir Rahman) who befriends a 65-year-old chief executioner, Rahim (Wan Hanafi Su). When the latter`s assistant suddenly quits his job, Aiman is asked by Rahim to become his apprentice.

Speaking to Cinema Online at the recent Tokyo International Film Festival, Boo Junfeng said, "I can't wait for it to go to Malaysia next month. I hope the audiences would really love it."

Well, if you can't wait until 24 November to watch this movie and want complimentary passes for the early screening, we got you covered.

All you have to do to redeem the passes is to show a screenshot of this article at the GSC Midvalley priority lane counter on 18 November starting from 11am onwards.

But take note that the tickets can be used only for the prefixed viewing date which is on 21 November, 9 PM, at GSC Midvalley.

One person is eligible for a maximum of two tickets only and the offer is valid until stocks last.

"Apprentice" opens nationwide on 24 November and will be playing exclusively under GSC International Screens at GSC Mid Valley, GSC Pavilion, GSC 1 Utama, GSC Dataran Pahlawan (Melaka) and GSC Gurney Plaza (Penang).
