Chloe Grace Moretz is headlining another remake

Chloe Grace Moretz is set to star in "Suspiria" remake.

5 Oct – In this day and age, nothing is sacred anymore. At least, that certainly rings true for Hollywood as well as the movie industry in general.

With remakes of classic movies keep flooding in from time to time, it comes to no surprise that Dario Argento's 1977 horror classic "Suspiria" will be getting an update sooner or later.

Now, according to Variety, "Kick-Ass" and "The Equalizer" actress Chloe Grace Moretz has been tapped to star in the upcoming "Suspiria" remake, this time directed by Italian director Luca Guadagnino ("A Bigger Splash").

Other cast members joining Moretz include Dakota Johnson ("Fifty Shades Of Grey"), Tilda Swinton ("Doctor Strange") and Mia Goth ("Everest").

The "Suspiria" remake has been a passion project for Guadagnino, who has been trying to get it off the ground since 2008.

With the new "Suspiria" movie on the horizon, this would be the fourth time Moretz is involved in a horror remake. Over the last few years, she has starred in "Let Me In", "Dark Shadows" and "Carrie".

The "Suspiria" remake is expected to arrive some time in 2017.
