Dwayne Johnson officially boards another big remake

Dwayne Johnson is up for another movie.

25 Apr – Looks like the question has been answered – Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is rolling the dice and officially boarding the "Jumanji" project.

The actor recently shared the good news on social media: "It's official. We'll produce and deliver to a whole new generation a title that I love and is one of my all time favs (sic): There's games you play for fun...then there's games that change your life. JUMANJI"

The action star is adding the movie to his already long list of projects, which includes the "Baywatch" remake, movie adaptation of "Rampage", animated movie "Moana" and action comedy "Central Intelligence", to name a few.

It was previously reported that "Central Intelligence" co-star Kevin Hart will be joining Johnson on the "Jumanji" remake. However, Hart has yet to confirm whether he will be game for it.

"Jumanji", which starred the late Robin Williams in the original 1995 version, is set to be helmed by director Jake Kasdan.

Previously slotted for a December 2016 release, the movie has since been shifted to a new release date of 27 July 2017.

While the possibility of Johnson and Hart partnering up again is unknown for the moment, in the meantime, the comical duo can still be seen working together in this June's "Central Intelligence".
