14 Feb - "Deadpool" has just been released almost all over the world and the sequel has already been confirmed with a possible new character on board. The origin story, "Deadpool" has already collected USD 12 million on its opening day from its seven international markets according to The Hollywood Reporter. It is rumoured that Cable, the iconic leader of the X-Force team, will feature in the sequel which is expected to release in 2018. If Cable does appear in the sequel, we might just witness an X-Force movie that 20th Century Fox has been planning to develop. MoviePilot speculates that Wolverine might also make an appearance, even though Hugh Jackman has mentioned several times that "Wolverine 3" will be the last time he plays the mutant. "Deadpool" scribe Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are already working on the new script with the studio hoping to keep the original crew intact, but director Tim Miller has yet to sign on for the follow-up. "The Matrix Reloaded" is the only R-rated film that collected a staggering USD 91.7 million on its opening weekend but "Deadpool" might stand a chance to knock them off the top spot being the first R-rated superhero film. Besides Ryan Reynolds playing the titular foul-mouthed anti-hero, the cast also includes Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Olesia Shewchuk, Style Dayne, Rachel Sheen and Dan Zachary. Don't miss the highly anticipated action-packed romance thriller "Deadpool" in cinemas nationwide.
