26 Mar – Even though the filming of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" had officially wrapped, directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg as well as producer Jerry Bruckheimer decided to add "an extra big set-piece scene" by including rock legend Paul McCartney into the movie. According to Deadline, instead of reshooting the whole film, Paul McCartney's involvement is only going to be an extra scene which was not originally planned when they first made the movie. Since the film will only be release in 2017, there is still plenty of time for the studio to add in one or two scenes, or make slight amendments. It is still not known what role McCartney would play in the fifth instalment in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film series, but he is not the first famous musician to join the franchise. Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones played Captain Teague, as Jack Sparrow's father whom appeared in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides".
