30 Jun – "The Avengers" star Scarlett Johansson is now officially the highest-grossing actress of all time.
Not only that, Scarlett is also the only actress to land in the Top 10 list of highest-grossing movie stars of all time, according to the recent ranking by Box Office Mojo.

The closest actress to her on the list is Cameron Diaz, who placed 19 with a total gross of USD3 billion.
The list is topped by Harrison Ford (USD4,871.7 billion), whose "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" helped him push Samuel L. Jackson (USD4,646.8 billion) down to number two. Number three is taken by Hollywood's 'Voice of God', Morgan Freeman (USD4,433.0 billion).
Scarlett's fellow "Avengers" cast member, Robert Downey, Jr., placed fifth on the list with USD3,943.6 billion (behind Tom Hanks USD4,340.7 billion).
For last year's "Avengers: Age of Ultron", Robert Downey, Jr., who plays Iron Man, was the highest-paid actor, earning USD40 million while Scarlett was the second highest-paid with USD20 million.
Scarlett started acting since childhood, appearing in movies such as "North" (1994), "Home Alone 3" (1997) and "The Horse Whisperer" (1998).
She later successfully transitioned into more mature roles and is most well-known for her portrayal of Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She was also praised for her starring role in 2014's "Lucy".
Apart from appearing onscreen, the 31-year-old also lends her voices to animated movies. She recently voiced Kaa in the live-action/3D-animated "The Jungle Book". She will also be voicing a porcupine in the upcoming "Sing".
The next movie Scarlett will be headlining is 2017's "Ghost in the Shell".
