27 Dec – By now, every Superman fan should know that the man of steel is coming back to continue his superheroic crime fighting in the upcoming "Justice League" movie. However, that is not all that is rocking the fans' boats right now, as actor Henry Cavill recently posted a photo on social media showing him having a "drink like gentleman" with Dwayne Johnson. "DC worlds will collide", stated one of Cavill's hashtags on the Instagram post of him and Johnson, who is set to star as anti-hero Black Adam in "Shazam!". It is speculated that the two characters will meet in "Man of Steel 2", the follow-up to Cavill's 2013 movie. Though the release date is yet to be determined as 2017 will see the releases of "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League Part One" first, followed by "The Flash" and "Aquaman" in 2018.
Johnson's Black Adam will make his DC extended universe debut in 2019's "Shazam!" before going up against Cavill's Superman in their yet-to-be-revealed movie. The possibility of the two superpowers colliding was first announced by Johnson earlier this year when he tweeted "Won't happen in the first movie, but nothing would make me happier. He's got it comin'" along with the hashtag #BlackAdamVsSuperman. So while we may not be seeing the epic battle in "Shazam!" and "Justice League Part One", the recent post proves that it is definitely happening so fans just have to watch out for it in either "Man of Steel 2" or "Justice League Part Two".
