22 Sep – Chugging fast down the track of success is South Korean movie "Train to Busan", as it has recently reached the RM20 million mark at the local box office in Malaysia. As of yesterday, the zombie thriller collected the aforementioned amount within two weeks of showing in Malaysian cinemas. Released on 8 September, the movie is currently still showing in 119 locations nationwide. Even prior to its official release earlier this month, "Train to Busan" was already the highest-grossing Korean movie in the country, having made RM4.8 million during its one-week sneak show period from 27 August. The number grew to RM16.3 million on the movie's opening week and it made approximately another RM4 million in its second week. The zombie-ridden feature, starring Gong Yoo, Kim Su-an, Jung Yu-mi, Ma Dong-seok, Ahn So-hee and Shoi Woo-shik, has collected USD99 million worldwide.
