"X-Men: Apocalypse" local advance sales have begun

10 May – Can't wait to watch the latest instalment of the "X-Men" franchise? You can already start buying tickets in advance from local cinemas.

MBO Cinemas, GSC Cinemas and TGV Cinemas have recently commenced advance ticket sales for "X-Men: Apocalypse".

Apart from the standard and 3D formats, the action superhero movie will also be screened in D-BOX at GSC and IMAX 3D at TGV.

The upcoming movie will see the return of familiar faces such as James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, joined by fresh faces including Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan and Alexandra Shipp.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" tells the story of a supervillain by the name of Apocalypse. Awakening after a thousand of years, he recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a dejected Magneto, to cleanse mankind, creating a new world order. Professor X and Raven, along with a team of young X-Men, must stop mankind from being completely destroyed by Apocalypse.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" opens in cinemas this 19 May.
