2 May – Everyone needs to take a vacation every once in a while, but in some cases, the person has just been working too hard for too long that they forget what it's like to relax and let go of all their worries. This is exactly the case for Aurore and Marine, who have just returned from Afghanistan and are told to go on a decompression leave at a five-star resort in Cyprus in "The Stopover". "The Stopover", also known as "Voir Du Pays", is one of the films featured at this year's Le French Festival, which takes place from this Thursday until 18 June. It is directed by Delphine and Muriel Coulin and stars Soko and Ariane Labed in the lead roles. The film was featured at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the award for Best Screenplay in the Un Certain Regard category. "The Stopover" will be shown at selected GSC locations starting from 4 May under the Le French Festival banner.
