Oscars dates set for the next four years

The 90th Oscars will be held in March next year.

5 Apr – Get your calendars ready because the Academy has just set the Oscar dates for the next four years.

As per The Hollywood Reporter, ABC and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that the 90th Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, 4 March 2018.

Meanwhile, the nominations for the upcoming Oscars will be announced on 23 January 2018.

As for the 91st, 92nd and 93rd Oscars presentations, they will be held on 24 February 2019, 23 February 2020 and 28 February 2021, respectively.

The March date for the 2018 Oscars is not unusual. The Academy does it every four years to avoid clashing with the Winter Olympics, which in 2018 will conclude on 25 February in South Korea.

The 90th Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Centre in Hollywood.
