27 Apr – Earlier this year, director M. Night Shyamalan released his latest film "Split", starring James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, a man with 23 different and dangerous identities, and Anya Taylor-Jay as Casey Cooke, one of Crumb's captives.

Very recently, Shyamalan revealed on Twitter, that his next film will be a sequel to both "Split" and his 2000 movie "Unbreakable", titled "Glass".

Through a series of multiple Tweets, he reveals that he's finished the script for the sequel.

Seventeen years since the release of "Unbreakable", Shyamalan discloses that: "It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film."

Those who have watched "Split" – and seen the director's tweet back in February about his next movie – would know why the two worlds will collide.

Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson in "Unbreakable".

McAvoy, Taylor-Jay, as well as "Unbreakable" stars Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson will all return to reprise their roles in "Glass".

Shyamalan will once again be teaming up with Jason Blum and Universal Pictures – they had all previously worked together on "Split".

Still visibly excited about the film, Shyamalan announced that "Glass" is set for a global release on 18 January 2019.
