17 Oct – The highly anticipated action drama "Tombiruo: Penunggu Rimba" has already hit nationwide cinemas beginning 12 October, and it certainly does not disappoint with its grossing of RM2 million in just four days of screening. Showing in 115 cinemas nationwide including Brunei and Singapore, with positive response from the public, the film that is adapted from Malaysia's number one thriller novel of the same name by Ramlee Awang Murshid also places second on Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) Top 10 Movies list. This victory manages to push aside international blockbuster films such as "Blade Runner 2049", "Kingsman: The Golden Circle", and "The Foreigner".
