"Batman v Superman" versus "Zoolander 2" at the 2017 Razzies.

24 Jan – As is the norm when February comes around, the Academy Awards will be handing out its golden statuettes and celebrate the best of the best in Hollywood.

But a day before that prestigious ceremony, it is also the norm for the Razzies to gather the worst of the worst in Tinseltown and reward them with its golden raspberry trophies.

This year, there are two top contenders for the golden fruits, each earning eight nominations out of the nine contended categories.

"Zoolander 2", Ben Stiller's sequel to his 2001 comedy that arrives 15 years unfashionably late, and Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", which maybe only touched mothers' hearts everywhere but not hardcore superhero movie fans', are the two movies vying for the top spot at the 2017 Razzies.
