9 Aug – After the success of the highly-intriguing "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds", no doubt many are looking forward to catching the continuation of the story in the follow-up, "Along with the Gods 2: The Last 49 Days".
To promote the upcoming second movie, director Kim Yong-hwa and his "Along with the Gods 2" cast touched down in Taipei last weekend and greeted not only the Taiwanese fans and media but also press members from several Asian countries including Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Hong Kong.
Dressed to the nines despite the sweltering summer heat, stars Ju Ji-hoon, Kim Dong-wook, Kim Hyang-gi, Don Lee and Ha Jung-woo, along with director Kim, worked the red carpet at Taipei City Hall Square.
With bright smiles decorating their faces, the sextet made their way down the red carpet, occasionally stopping to indulge their excited fans who were clamouring for selfies and autographs.
Ju Ji-hoon's fans even had placards made to better catch his attention.

After a short break, they made their way to the stage where they did a short Q&A session with the hosts.
Director Kim gave the most memorable reply that Sunday evening as he was asked whom among the cast members he would like to be reincarnated as and he wittily replied, "Ju Ji-hoon for his good looks, Ha Jung-woo for his inner beauty, Kim Hyang-gi for her kind-heartedness, Don Lee for his power and Kim Dong-wook for his intelligence."
Before making their exit, the cast and director were presented with a lion dance to symbolise good fortune for their movie, which was opening in Taiwan cinemas yesterday, 8 August.
Some of the luckier Taiwanese fans had already watched the movie in IMAX earlier on Sunday noon, during the sneak preview along with the media at Vieshow Cinemas Taipei Sun.

Both parts of "Along with the Gods" were filmed simultaneously, with the first part, subtitled "The Two Worlds", released in December 2017 (18 January 2018 in Malaysia) and the second part, subtitled "The Last 49 Days", releasing this month in most Asian territories.
The first "Along with the Gods" managed to top the Malaysian box office on its opening weekend earlier this year and judging by the reception the second part of the South Korean blockbuster has been receiving in its home country ever since its release on 1 August, "Along with the Gods 2" might just be creating new records in Malaysia too once released.
"Along with the Gods 2: The Last 49 Days" concludes the two-parter in Malaysian cinemas this 30 August.
However, for fans who would like to refresh their memory on the first part, TGV Cinemas will be screening reruns of "Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds" from 10 to 12 August, and from 16 to 22 August.
