5 Feb – Early last month it was reported that the third instalment of the "Cloverfield" franchise was no longer releasing earlier this month in cinemas, but fans are in for a surprise when it was suddenly revealed that the movie is releasing on Netflix today. Netflix has just retweeted a post from Complex Pop Culture, which in turned was sharing a post by the movie's official Twitter account, stating, "You'll know why after the game". "The game" it refers to is the Super Bowl. So once that game wraps up, fans will be treated to the first ever screening of the new "Cloverfield" movie. By the way, the movie is now called "The Cloverfield Paradox". Previously going by the name of "God Particle", it was speculated before this that the movie would be undergoing a name change prior to its release. Directed by J. J. Abrams, the third movie stars Daniel Bruhl ("Captain America: Civil War"), Zhang Ziyi Zhang ("Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"), David Oyelowo ("Interstellar") and Gugu Mbatha-Raw ("Beyond the Lights"). "The Cloverfield Paradox" is set in the near future, where a group of international astronauts on a space station are working to solve a massive energy crisis on Earth. The experimental technology aboard the station has an unexpected result, leaving the team isolated and fighting for their survival.
