4 May – Moviegoers in Alor Setar, Kedah, now have another cinema to go to for movie outings as Paragon Cinemas is officially opening its third location at Alor Star Mall next week on 11 May. Prior to the grand opening, moviegoers will have the chance to get a feel of what the new cinema has to offer since there will be free screening of movies for the public from 5 until 10 May 2018. The movies that will be screened for free are "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle", "Monster Hunt 2", "Tomb Raider", "Justice League", "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" and "Insidious: The Last Key". To redeem the free tickets, cinema patrons have to fill up the coupon, which is redeemable for 2 tickets each and available on Paragon Cinemas' Facebook (where redemption locations are also stated), and do the redemption from 10am on 5 May until 6pm on 10 May.
