28 Feb – Five years after Paul Walker's untimely death in 2013, Paramount Network has confirmed that a documentary about the life and death of the 40-year-old actor is in the works. Deadline reported that Paramount Network will team up with Network Entertainment producer Derik Murray and director Adrian Buitenhuis to make the documentary, which is given the title "I Am Paul Walker". The documentary will feature interviews from Walker's cast mates from movies that he had done, most prominently the "Fast and the Furious" franchise, his closest friends, and family. "I Am Paul Walker" will showcase the actor's acting career throughout his life and also his humanitarian work with Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), which he founded in 2010. Walker died in a car accident on 30 November 2013, after attending a charity event for victims of Typhoon Haiyan organised by ROWW. His last movie was "Furious 7", where his face was digitally superimposed on his two brothers to recreate his character after his death. "I Am Paul Walker" won't be Murray and Buitenhuis' first stint working on a documentary of a late actor, as they have previously worked on "I Am Heath Ledger", detailing the life and career of the eponymous Australian actor.
