3 Dec – Hong Kong superstar and Longines ambassador Aaron Kwok recently took time off from his work in Hong Kong to visit Penang, Malaysia, for the grand opening of the brand's fourth boutique. As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who graced the launch held at the premiere shopping mall Gurney Plaza, admitted that he has never set foot in Penang before, and is mesmerised by its beauty and the cordiality of its locals. "I have a special fondness for Malaysia, because I filmed "After This Our Exile" in Ipoh and the film won at the Golden Horse Awards. Hopefully I can come back and do a movie here, and even a concert," he added. Fans who went to the event to see him cheered vigorously upon hearing his words. Speaking about the watch brand, Aaron said, "It was an honour to be here to celebrate this amazing milestone with Longines. I am delighted to see how the brand continues to grow and expand worldwide and across the Malaysian market." The actor also stated that he plans to give his two daughters Chantelle and Charlotte watches as presents when they grow up. (Photo Source: Aaron Kwok's Instagram)
