24 Dec - Although it was originally scheduled for a late February 2020 release, Sony Pictures recently announced that its upcoming Vin Diesel-starrer, "Bloodshot", will have its release date pushed back a month.

As reported on Screen Rant, the upcoming movie, an adaptation of the Valiant graphic novel of the same name, will now be released on 13 March 2020 – which was previously vacated for Warner Bros' "Godzilla vs Kong" that is now scheduled for a November release.

First released in 1992 by Valiant Comics, "Bloodshot" stars Diesel as Ray Garrison, who - following a tragedy that killed him and his wife - was brought back to life by RTS Corporation with super-strength and super-healing.

After using his newfound power to hunt those he believes responsible for his and his wife's death, Garrison later discovers that there is more to the conspiracy than meets the eye.

Directed by David S.F. Wilson, the film co-stars Eiza González, Sam Heughan, Guy Pearce, and Toby Kebbell.

It is noted that another adaptation of a Valiant graphic novel is currently in the works. Back in September, Paramount revealed that it had acquired "Harbinger" from Sony.

Apart from "Bloodshot", Diesel will also return for "Fast & Furious 9" in May next year.
