19 Jan – Kevin Hart is ready to roll some dice because he is set to lead a big screen adaptation of the popular board game, Monopoly. Deadline states that Hart is in final negotiations to star in the movie, which will have "Ride Along" helmer Tim Story as director. A writer and a production date have yet to been announced. Plot details are also being kept under wrap at the moment so we'll have to wait to find out who and what exactly Hart will be playing in this movie. For the past decade, Hasbro has been plotting a movie based on its hit board game, which is enjoyed in 114 countries. Previous attempts include a Lionsgate project with "The Truman Show" writer Andrew Niccol attached to pen the script and another project with Ridley Scott as producer. Looks like Hart's popularity is not hurt by his recent Oscars controversy, where he has to step down from being the host due to old anti-gays tweets the actor made nearly 10 years ago. Not only does he have this Monopoly gig coming up, his new movie "The Upside" is also currently doing well at the box office and he's set to be seen (or heard, to be exact) in this year's "Secret Life Of Pets 2".
