7 Dec – "The Grudge" is less than a month away from opening in local cinemas but fans will get to see star Lin Shaye way before that. Best of all – they'll get to see her live in person! Shaye will be making her way to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to meet with local fans this 20 and 21 December. Director and writer Nicolas Pesce will also be in attendance on both days. Aside from attending a press conference, the duo will also be making an appearance at Comic Fiesta on 21 December. The convention, which will be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from 21 to 22 December, will have a major feature for "The Grudge". Activities include a panel discussion, fan meet-and-greet and footage presentation. Shaye, otherwise known as the "Godmother of Horror", is best known for her starring role in the "Insidious" franchise as psychic Elise Ranier. She has been in over 90 movies spanning more than four decades. Meanwhile, Nicolas Pesce made his feature directorial debut with 2016's "The Eyes of My Mother", which he followed up with last year's "Piercing". "The Grudge", which starts haunting the big screen on 1 January 2020, also stars John Cho, Demian Bichir and Andrea Riseborough.
