22 Aug – Here's another Hollywood title to add to Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra Jonas' expanding list of movie projects, except she won't be able to talk much about it since details of the movie are being kept under tight wrap. The 37-year-old has been tapped to star in Robert Rodriguez's "We Can Be Heroes" that's currently filming in Texas, as reported by Deadline. As it's an under-the-radar project, it was not revealed what the actr ess' role is in the movie, which is being written, directed and produced by Rodriguez for Netflix. The movie – which is said to be in the same vein as Rodriguez's "Alita: Battle Angel" and "Spy Kids", rather than his notably darker "Sin City" – tells of the children of Earth's superheroes banding together to save their parents who have been kidnapped by alien invaders. Among those who are joining Chopra Jonas as part of the cast are Pedro Pascal ("Wonder Woman 1984"), Akira Akbar ("Captain Marvel"), Adriana Barraza ("Dora and the Lost City of Gold"), Sung Kang ("Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift"), Brittany Perry-Russell ("13 Reasons Why"), Hala Finley ("Man with a Plan") and Boyd Holbrook ("Logan"). Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who took her husband Nick's last name after marrying the singer-actor last year, made her Hollywood debut in the Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron-starrer "Baywatch". She followed that up with indie movie "A Kid Like Jake", which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and was most recently seen in the Netflix-distributed Rebel Wilson-starring "Isn't It Romantic?". Her next movies will be "The Sky Is Pink", which she stars in and co-produces and is set to premiere in Toronto next month, and an untitled wedding comedy set in India that will be co-produced by Mindy Kaling.
