24 Jul – Just as films are resuming production in Hong Kong, the third wave of the pandemic has halted progress yet again, with the latest project to announce its postponement being the upcoming Aaron Kwok-starring thriller, "Broken Net".

As reported on Singtao Daily, the news was announced by the public relations team of the said production, saying that the severity of the current pandemic has prompted them to stop filming for the time being for the safety of everybody involved.

The rep also admitted that they have no idea how long filming will be suspended.

Produced by Cheang Pou Soi and directed by Wong Hing Fan, "Broken Net" began filming back in June with Aaron reducing his own salary up to 30 percent to show his support for local productions.

It also stars Gordon Lam, whom Aaron worked with in "Cold War", and his "Port of Call" co-stars Michael Ning and Patrick Tam.
