23 Mar - Donnie Yen and family recently arrived home in Hong Kong from Los Angeles after the HKSAR government issued a red travel alert on the United States, Britain, and Ireland. As reported on Mingpao, the action star, who was spotted at the Hong Kong International Airport along with wife Cissy Wang as well as their two children Jasmine and James, shared that they were in Hollywood earlier to attend the premiere of the Disney live-action remake of "Mulan". Asked if they would be self-quarantined for 14 days, Donnie said that it should be done.
"This is our responsibility towards the others. Even if the government does not impose it, we should always quarantine ourselves when we return from a foreign country," he said. Donnie also stated that he will be focusing on his and his family's physical safety, as well as the social situation, and will not think too much about work for the time being. The actor recently posted an update on social media, wishing everyone to stay safe and strong. He reiterated the importance of self-quarantine and urged those who have just returned from a trip abroad to do so, stating that it is for the public health and not a personal choice.
