17 Apr – HBO GO has recently started offering free contents to viewers who are staying safe at home during social distancing or the Movement Control Order (MCO). No subscription is required, anyone with internet access can just head to HBO Go's website to stream the free HBO Originals and HBO Asia Originals titles. The shows available for free streaming are a mix of international and regional series. Among these is the Asian horror anthology, "Folklore", which includes episodes based in Malaysia, "Toyol" directed by Ho Yuhang, and Singapore. "Nobody" helmed by Eric Khoo. Singapore's "Invisible Stories", the six-part series that premiered last January, along with Japan's "Miss Sherlock" and Taiwan's "The Teenage Psychic' are also part of the free contents. International titles include Dwayne Johnson-starrer "Ballers", "Succession", "Silicon Valley", "Barry", "The Inventor", "Veep", "McMillions", "The Sopranos" and "The Wire". Note that only the first season of each series is offered for free streaming. Anyone wishing to continue watching subsequent seasons will have to subscribe to HBO Go.
