17 Aug – Malaysian horror movie "Roh" is setting yet another historic success as it is set to be screened in Cambodian cinemas later this year.

This comes following its positive reception in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei since it was theatrically released in the three countries on 6 August.

"Good news! Thanks to the encouraging reception in Malaysian, Singaporean and Bruneian cinemas, #filemROH has been accepted for screening at several Cambodian cinemas later this year.

"Most excitingly, it will be dubbed into the Khmer language," Kuman Pictures posted on its official Facebook page.

The same post also mentioned that the dubbing process will begin this week.

Moviegoers who have seen the movie praised not only its interesting plot but also its quality that is said to be comparable to international films despite costing only RM360,000 to produce.

The production company team previously promised an opening day money-back guarantee for moviegoers who were dissatisfied by the film. The guarantee proved Kuman Pictures' confidence in the film's high quality.

Directed by Emir Ezwan, the movie revolves around a poor family living at the edge of the forest. After welcoming a mysterious girl into their house, strange things begin happening to the family.

It stars only six cast members: Farah Ahmad, Mhia Farhana, Harith Haziq, Putri Qaseh, Namron and his wife Junainah M. Lojong.
