14 Dec – TGV Cinemas has recently announced that eight of its locations across the nation will resume operations as of 16 December, following the government's decision to relax the strictness of the current Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). The eight locations are, as per BH online, TGV Gurney Paragon, TGV 1st Avenue Mall and TGV Bukit Mertajam in Penang; TGV AEON Seri Manjung and TGV AEON Taiping in Perak; TGV Vivacity Megamall and TGV Permaisuri Imperial Mall in Sarawak; and TGV Mesra Mall in Terengganu. Since there's still no end to the COVID-19 pandemic, TGV will be prioritising staff and cinema patrons' safety by ensuring that the government-approved Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for cinemas is followed closely. As is the new norm, cinema patrons will be required to wear masks at all times, sign in using the MySejahtera app, and scan their body temperatures prior to entry. "Wonder Woman 1984" is the first movie to be screened in Malaysian cinemas following several locations' reopening this week. Get the showtimes right HERE.
