18 Jun – Anya Taylor-Joy recently admitted that she is excited about working on the upcoming "Furiosa" movie because of two obvious reasons.
The actress, who spoke about the upcoming movie as part of Variety's "Actors on Actors" series, stated that she just couldn't wait to start just for the chance of working with the highly-respected "Mad Max" creator, George Miller.
"That brain is incredible. I feel so lucky and privileged to spend time with him, and to grow alongside him," she said.
"The Queen's Gambit" star also expressed her keenness on doing something physical for a change, adding, "To physically become something else is something that will weirdly give me a lot of peace. I'm quite excited to work hard."
The upcoming film will be a prequel centering on the character Imperator Furiosa at a young age. The character was first introduced to the audience in the 2015 movie, "Mad Max: Fury Road" and was played wonderfully by Charlize Theron.
It will begin filming in August in New South Wales, Australia, and scheduled for a June 2023 release.
Other cast members include Chris Hemsworth and Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
