4 Jun – Rumour has it that Elijah Wood is joining the upcoming reboot of the low-budget 1984 superhero film, "The Toxic Avenger".

As reported on Screenrant, the actor is set to play the lead villain Bob Garbinger in the upcoming movie, which will star "Game of Thrones" actor Peter Dinklage as the titular character.

Garbinger is described as the greedy and corrupt boss of Garb X who seeks to become as powerful as the Toxic Avenger - the latter who becomes a gruesome superhero (or call it a mutant vigilante) after being pushed into a vat of toxic waste.
