1 Sep – Seven years after "The Expendables 3", it was announced that the fourth instalment is now in the works. Lionsgate and Millenium Media recently announced that Sylvester Stallone and his band of brothers Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture are set to reprise their roles as Barney Ross, Lee Christmas, Gunner Jensen, and Toll Road respectively. The four will also be joined by new faces that include Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent), Megan Fox, and Tony Jaa.
To be directed by Scott Waugh from a screenplay by Spenser Cohen, the upcoming movie will begin production some time in fall - with Statham also co-producing. The last film, which was released in 2014, grossed USD 214 million worldwide.
