16 Dec – The tenth instalment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise has a new release date. In an announcement made by Universal on 15 December, it was revealed that the film, which was scheduled for 7 April 2023 release, will now be having a wide release on 19 May of the same year. On the other hand, the 7 April 2023 slot will be taken over by a DreamWorks Animation film, though Universal did not mention the title of the movie. It is noted that the latest movie of the said franchise, "F9", became the highest grossing Hollywood movie during the pandemic, with USD 681.5 million at the global box office. Earlier, it was revealed that the upcoming "Fast & Furious" movie will be divided into two movies, with director Justin Lin describing it as "one chapter in two movies."
