20th Century Studios also confirmed the news by retweeting Reynolds' post, while director Shawn Levy shared it in a quote tweet, adding "Yuuuuuuuup." "Free Guy", which was delayed twice since last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, made USD 10.5 million in its debut when it opened last week. It stars Reynolds as a bank teller named Guy who after finding out that he is actually an NPC (non-player character) inside an open world video game, decided to become the hero of the story.
