22 Nov – Although Dwayne Johnson has been mum on Vin Diesel's invitation for him to return to The Fast Saga, the actor's business partner Hiram Garcia has some things to say about it. The Seven Bucks Productions president, who spoke about the recent Instagram post by Diesel, stated that The Rock is already used to such a thing being in the predictable showbiz world. "I think we're both very used to it. I know. I haven't been able to really connect with DJ on it because he's been buried in promoting Red Notice. But yeah, I'm used to it. It's what comes with that world. You get crazy curve balls thrown and you just roll with it," he said.
Garcia admitted that Johnson is currently the biggest movie star in the world, and that he has received offers left and right. "No one's below trying all attempts and approaches to try and get him on board. So I appreciate it. You got to take your shot. You never know. I'm sure there's a couple DMs that slid in there too. I'm sure he slid into the DMs as well," he said. Johnson has not released any statement regarding Diesel's invitation, though he had previously expressed disinterest to return as Luke Hobbs on the said franchise. "I've wished them well. I wish them well on Fast 9. And I wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast & Furious movies they do that will be without me," he said.
